bye bye 20's

we have been fighting a cough for over 4 weeks around here and it's time to see the doc. the last day of my 20's will be spent nursing a wee one and wiping a preschooler nose and seeing the doctor and i couldn't feel more content about where i'm at in the short time i've had to get here.

as i bid a fond farewell to my 20's i can honestly say i'm ready to be in my 30's. A is hoping for dirty thirties but i have to say i'm more looking forward to hitting my stride and keeping stability a priority. bye bye late nights, bye bye hangovers, and bye bye worrying about what everybody else thinks. it's been a good run 20's but i think in the big scheme of things you are going to look pretty dim compared with what's to come...
