Another Beautiful Day

we woke up yesterday morning to sunshine after a week of rain. we immediately formulated a plan to go to st. lawrence market and get stuff to make duck confit sandwiches braised in sour cherry jam. we had a great time prowling around the market and Q was in awe of the musicians. so seldom are small children exposed to live music in their daily lives in the suburbs i think adam and i forgot how amazing it is to them. we wandered around looking at all of the stuff and enjoying being out as a family.

today, we've woken up to another fabulous sunny day but we are going to pull this one off around the house. we have to get the yard going and also clear out AJ's room for her homecoming on april 30. we are seriously lacking in child storage...a problem that will likely be ongoing. so here's to the sun! here's to spring cleaning!
